Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Binary Rambo ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your information across all our mobile applications and software products (collectively, the "Apps"). By installing or using any of our Apps you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

Binary Rambo is an independent software studio. For any privacy enquiry, contact us at hello@binaryrambo.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information

Your email address and a securely hashed password when you sign up directly. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic identifier returned by that provider and (optionally) your email.

App content

The data you create inside an App — for example records, entries, notes, preferences, currency settings, or any other content you choose to add. This data may be stored on our backend (Supabase) so it can sync across your devices.

Purchase information

When you subscribe to a paid plan, the App Store or Google Play returns a receipt indicating the product purchased and its renewal status. We do not see or store your payment card details — those stay with Apple or Google.

Device & diagnostic data

Anonymised crash logs, OS version, app version, and device model used solely to diagnose stability and performance issues. No advertising identifiers are collected.

3. How we use your information

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

We process your data under the following lawful bases: (a) performance of a contract — to deliver the service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interest — to keep the App secure and reliable; (c) consent — for anything optional, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Service providers (sub-processors)

Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy and applicable data processing agreements.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account from within the App (Settings → Account → Delete account) or by emailing us, we permanently remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep certain records (e.g. tax invoices for purchases).

7. Security

All traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or later. Passwords are stored as one-way bcrypt hashes; we never see your plaintext password. Authentication tokens are stored in the device’s secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android).

9. Children’s privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Subscriptions & purchases

Some of our Apps offer optional auto-renewing subscriptions (for example a Plus or Premium plan). Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions or the equivalent Google Play menu. Our Terms of Use describe the subscription terms in full; the specific name, length, price and feature list of each subscription are shown on the in-app purchase screen.

11. International transfers

Your data may be processed in regions outside your own (for example, if our database region differs from your location). Where applicable we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the App and on this page; the “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
